EXOPC - What is it?

As I'm primarily a Microsoft technologies developer I may be a little too 'Pro Windows' but for a long time now, whilst using my laptop at home I have wished that I could un-dock my screen and use it about the house for things like web-browsing etc. rather than lugging the whole thing around with me.
