For those who have, please read on for some tips for if you decide to upgrade your battery yourself...

Upgrade Guide

When you upgrade your battery, be sure to follow this guide. One of the following tips should have been done in the factory!

1. Use some 3mm double sided foam tape to secure the new battery in place so it doesn't rattle around inside your remote. Cut it to a strip around 8-9mm wide and the same length as your new battery.

2. When placing your battery inside the remote, be sure to give the trigger plenty of clearance so that when it's pulled, it doesn't snag on the battery.

3. Whilst you have the remote open, be sure to encase the micro USB port in some hot glue to give it some extra strength as this is a common failure of these remotes where the micro USB port breaks off the PCB and you're no longer able to charge it.
Before you encase it in hot glue, be sure to use some tape, cut in to a tiny strip to cover over the little holes in the top of the USB port, as we don't want any hot glue seeping through and clogging up the port.

Be sure to leave a space beside the USB port so that the rubber port bung can still fit, as seen in the last photo above.

That's it! Now close the remote back up and enjoy around 7 hours of usage time! :)
